Rakkaat ystävät, olen hyvin surullinen joutuessani ilmoittamaan, että lääkärin määräyksestä minun on pakko peruuttaa kaikki loppuvuoden konserttini.
Kehoni on vaatinut ”huoltoa” ja lepoa jo pitkään. Viimeisten kahden vuoden ajan olen kuitenkin yrittänyt kaikin keinoin jaksaa mennä eteenpäin ja pysytellä vaativissa aikatauluissa rakastamani taiteen vuoksi, perheeni ja ystävieni vuoksi, teidän kaikkien vuoksi.
Nyt minun kuitenkin pitää pysähtyä hetkeksi kohentamaan fyysistä terveydentilaani.
Toivon teille kaikille onnea ja terveyttä tälle syksylle! Olen edelleen täällä sosiaalisessa mediassa ja Youtubessa kanssanne ja toivon näkeväni teidät konserteissa ensi vuonna! ❤️

About
Petrus Schroderus – The Tenor
Petrus Schroderus first turned from a police officer into an opera singer, then back from an opera singer into a police officer, and finally – from a police officer into a phenomenon!

The album, Kiitos Isä Taivaan (Thank you, our Heavenly Father), presents a collection of traditional hymns, Songs of Zion and spiritual songs interpreted in his own and impressive way by the tenor, Petrus Schroderus. The songs tell stories about gratitude towards life and trust in the Creator’s grace even in the most challenging times.
The arrangements have been made simultaneously thinking about Petrus Schroderus’ powerful voice and stable expression. The birds are chirping in the orchestra, inner fear and wonderment shiver in the fast tremolos of the strings, longing appears in the patterns rotating in their place, and heaven is opening in the lines opening upwards by the high strings.
The songs are interpreted together with Petrus by Oulunsalo Ensemble piloted by Sinikka Ala-Leppilampi and conducted by the arranger of the hymns, Petrus’ long time pianist and singing coach, Markus Vaara.
